As mentioned in my last post I was given the wrong information for what book to order for my class and am therefore 3 chapters behind at the moment. That would not be such a big deal but when I ordered the right book through the vendor that DeVry recommended I received an error and the order is on hold. For some reason they could not verify me and I got a message that said that a customer service person would call me. No call yet.

Also, I have switched from part time to full time by enrolling in 2-4 hour classes for the second have of this semester. This puts in me into a higher bracket for financial aid which is good since it makes sure that all my books and tuition is covered. The only issue is that I have had to change what classes that I am taking in the second half of the semester twice because of schedule and prerequisite issues.

Finally, I still cannot log into my classes to get a copy of the syllabus and to participate in the required discussions for the class since my access has not been setup. I have a feeling that this is what caused the book issue. Oh I almost forgot, I keep getting emails that say I need to turn in a couple of forms that I have already turned in.

I have to say that the majority of this issues are most likely self inflicted as I barely decided that I was going to start attending a week ago. It was very short notice to get everything setup and running smoothly for the administrative staff. I have to say that my counselor has been very responsive through all the issues especially since I know that she has a lot of other students that she needs to help.

I am sure by next week that things will smooth out.
