Yes, one of the worst things that you can do - especially when you are paying for it - is fail a college class. But I did.

The main reason was that I only went to class twice.

In my defense I had a pretty legitimate reason for not going - my kids. See my mother and father-in-law usually take care of the kids most of the time but they went out the country and so I had to help my wife with the kids. This got me totally exhausted.

On top of that I had 3 major projects that all needed to be completed during that same time frame so I had no time/energy left for school.

The good news is that the grade will not affect my GPA as it is not an accredited class. The other good news is that I am taking it again this coming semester and I will try to finish it early so I can take another class during the same period. If I can do this I will not have wasted any money or time.

We will see how it goes.
