Yup, We had a very big ice storm last week that actually closed DeVry here in Austin down for 2 days. I am not quite sure how they do the makeup but I already have a lot to do from the first week that I missed. I have to be honest, I have not missed missing school .

I have found out that math classes are a “work at your own pace” type of class where you sit at a computer and do your work. The instructor walks around and answers any questions that you may have. That is kind of cool because I should be able to rocket through this class pretty quick. This brings me to…

I found out that the current class that I am taking is not accredited which sucks. I guess it is considered a remedial class and therefore does not even qualify as an elective. All I can say is that I wish I would have know that before. The good news is that people have successfully started in the remedial class and worked though both it and the class after it all in one semester.

I need to do it in 6 weeks so we will see how it goes. I think I can get through the first class very quick so that should give me some time to try and get through the second class.

So much for only taking one class this semester!
